A successful start-up in the field of clothing upcycling (creation of new designs and collections from the deadstocks) is looking for a buyer to work with factories and brands around Europe.
We are looking for a person who is passionate about fashion, design and can create the process from a zero level, building a long successful relationship, not just a one-time purchase :)
Requirements for the position:
Experience of working with the clothing factories, brands (preferably in Europe) in any of the next positions: reseller, technologist, purchasing manager, project manager, product development manager, buyer, etc.)
Contact database would be a big plus.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Experience in business communications with foreign companies (understanding of mentality, market features, etc.).
Skills of working with tables, presentations and CRM systems.
Readiness for constant business trips to EU countries.
Residence in the EU is an important condition, to control the process and business trips, or willingness to move. The Company's production is located in Portugal, it is desirable to live there.
The ability to work with the deadlines, set priorities correctly and work according to them.
Professional PC skills, Google drive services, work experience in various applications and programs necessary for work.
Sense of taste, aestheticism, understanding of fashion trends, understanding of business etiquette, responsibility, communication skills, developed empathy.
Responsibilities:
Create a strategy of working with brands and factories around the EU.
Finding suppliers (factories, fashion brands, outlets, stock) and establishing successful long-term relationships with them.
Calculation and planning of work schemes, effective for the Company, with each supplier.
Presentation of the Company's services online and at the meetings.
Management of the freelance buyers.
Search for supplier companies on the basis of the Technical Task from the Designers.
Analysis of balances in the Company's warehouse, procurement planning, participation in production process planning.
Control of the entire process of working with the supplier together with the team (legal side, pricing, logistics, Lawyer, Logistician, Financier, Designers and other process participants).
Management and planning of the procurement process and the process of working with suppliers. Providing reports and work plans based on the analysis of results.
